Hey mummy, please be patient…..
Please mummy, let me stay for a little while longer, I feel safe and calm and loved.
I know you are tired, I know you are sore.
I’m sorry I am putting all this pressure on your body.
But I’m not ready to be born just yet.
Please be patient…..it wont be much longer, I promise I wont stay in here forever.
Our minds are connected and I know what you’re thinking, what you are feeling and what you may be fearing.
You think it is better for me to come out and meet you, but I am not really ready, and neither are you.
I know this because you are still too busy in your mind, too tense in your body and too overflowing with emotions.
I need you to know that your mind, your body and your emotions need to be balanced and aligned, which creates a beautiful synergy of positive energy that surrounds you and me like a cocoon.
Even with you researching all those natural induction methods to avoid a medical induction, I’m still not ready, so whether you choose natural or medical, you are still forcing me to come before my time.
When you get asked by all those time watchers “when is your baby coming” just reply “when my baby is ready.”
Please tell them no you don’t want that stretch and sweep, and no you don’t want them to break my membranes protecting me from germs, and no you don’t want all those drugs – you want the real deal, which is made by you …..for you …..and me.
Christmas time and holidays are no reasons to force me out of my lovely womb.
The place that has nurtured and protected me for so many months.
Please be patient…..I need time, I need calm and I need you to trust in your body and ability to birth me the way nature intended.
I love oxytocin, and so will you.
There will be challenges and it will be hard word, maybe the hardest thing you will ever do in your life.
But …..think of the joy and relief as I slip out into the world and you see me in the flesh for the very first time.
My birth will be the most incredible, powerful experience.
Please be patient, and allow that synergy of hormones to be ready.
Relax mummy, don’t keep trying all those different ideas to get me out.
Don’t listen to anybody else except me and your body.
Don’t push me out before it is time for me to come.
When my lungs are ready to breathe on their own, I help to get things started.
Please be patient, just wait and see, don’t allow yourself to be stressed, because this affects me.
Go and have fun with your friends, with our family, do all the things you love, and just be happy.
Just do something to help relax your mind, your body and your emotions because that is the key.
Feel the bliss of a massage, have a bath or a swim, or even a float in one of those float tanks – because that is divine.
Watch a funny movie to laugh and release endorphins – your loving and healing hormones.
Your mind, your body and your emotions – all in balance, interconnected with one another to create that beautiful birthing temple.
Only then are things right and ready and then I will know it is time to activate protein from my lungs to the placenta to get things started.
Then I can make my way to your loving arms, your smell, your soft kisses and your breast, which will nourish and nurture me.
Please listen to me mummy…..please be patient!
Don’t evict me just yet.
