Contact VickiDuring your labour and birth, it is important that you feel comfortable, safe and calm in your birthing space.
Music plays an important part in this.
Everyone is different of course, and during labour and birth what you think you might like to hear during your labour and birth may be totally different when you are in labour and giving birth.
Sometimes you just might want total quiet as well.
Being prepared gives you so much choice.
I always suggest have a wide range of music genres on your device so that whenever you need change you can switch music over from upbeat and funky to slow and calming.
Now most people know lots of tunes they would love to have, and you probably already have these on your devices, but when it comes to relaxation music you may not be so sure, so I have compiled a list of albums that I have that I use with my doula, massage and hypnobirthing clients that I would like to share with you.
Let me know of any others that you have tried so I can add it to the list.

Journey to the Temple by Llewellyn
(one of my all time favourites that I also use for meditation)
Zen and the Art of Relaxation by Anzan
Soothing Touch (various artists)
A Peaceful Soak by George Nascimento
Spirit Spa by David R. Maracle
Celtic Twilight by various artists
The Healing Harp by Patricia Spero
Lavender Music for Relaxation by Tom Ameen
These are just a few of my own favourites and if you feel that an album should be included for women who are considering their music playlist then just let me know.
If you have a great playlist you would like to suggest and I can include, contact me via the contact form below.
Many blessings to you.
